Life is Killing me inside
Not only because of my pride
But also because I can’t glide
With my wounded and battered side
Life says “I am Okay”
But that’s the only thing
It has the courage to say
Coz’ everyone is at bay
Trying to all make their hay
As the sun is shining on their day
No one care to stay
And look beyond am okay
Even when I cannot say.
Most of them love to sit
And see opportunity to eat
Not even listen to any bit
To a life on the heat.
I have therefore learnt
The camouflage of okay:
So that no one knows
That they actually don’t care
About those they call their friend.
And we will all be okay
