Someday the sun doesn’t shine

Neither does the expected rain
A time you sit in pain
With no chance to wail

A time the drums don’t roll
A stringless guitar is all you got
Accompanying the melodies of the voiceless
And ululations of celebration

Your expectations come to expiration
Your inspirations to desperation,
Your aspiration to disinclination
In a separation with all the preparations

With the emptiness in abundance
Banging thuds of silence
Excessive loneliness presence
As you enjoy the freezing warmth
Of a still throbbing heart

In patience sit
And enjoy the delicacy
Of a warm can of worms
Without a dare to share
With those who for you
Minutes never spare
But still, want your generosity

Enjoy every single bite.
