I sobbed
I stood and watched.
I counted the losses,
The pain rained, my eyes dried,
I lost it all, was left a broken wall
Remembering the past.

I cried,
I asked the questions
I stared at the darkness
The loud silence was so deep,
My heart stopped to listen;
The brain left for yonder;
Leaving a skeleton that hoped less.

I lived,
To see another day,
To get another hurt tray,
Another prayer to say
Stand strong whatever may,
And enjoy again the sun’s ray

I hope.
I stand still,
My consciousness’ made a kill
To steal some piece
Of peace to be still
Despite this valley and hill;
Amidst this grief that fills
