TWENTY ONE POINT FIVE

Twenty one point Five
This is not where I wanted to be
This is not where I dreamt to be
Neither where I wished I would be
But where God has placed me
Beyond my dreams above my wishes
Too high for my imagination.
Twenty plus
Granted freely by one God
Letting me score utmost points
Not five but one at a time
Twenty plus all empty
That in Him I may be full
Made me pointless
That others doubt His point less
Made me weak
That in Him am strong each week
Made me fall
That for Him I may stand tall
Those who offered a hand
Showed me the land
Through the mud and sand
While pulling the strands
That softly I may land
And in the end tall stand,
May your desires God grant
For those my book I opened
Who read and penned
Patiently to the end
While there’s also end
From all a lot was learnt
Anymore couldn’t be blunt
Am here
Not ‘cause of birth with a silver spoon
Not ‘cause of never failing
But ‘cause of his strength after every fall
With him being my goal
No longer striving for a spoon
But for a golden crown
I wasn’t the best at the job
But His best tool for the Job
Not like the rest
He passed me from east to west
His rest after every test
That I may pass the ultimate test
Even where I was the guest
This far I’ve got the realization
His plans greater than my Visualization
His choices better than my expectation
His path greater than my imagination
And his time above my anticipation
From now
I refuse to fail,
I refuse to be frail
I diffuse all my wails
I refuse to be derailed
Until in his victory I sail.
And beyond 21.5 I’ll hale
My problems He’ll forever bail
Amen
