When the year began I did not know what would come out of it. The year has had its many challenges, but the Lord has been gracious to me.
He has opened doors on walls, shut gates I thought led to destiny. The destination is unknown, but I trust the one who created and is the way. The sustenance of the Lord has been my portion. I have enjoyed sheaves that others overlooked, do I could come through and eat, others have not gone back to the olives trees a second time so that I quench the thirst.. I have eaten the fruits of the land the Lord sent me to. When he says you will harvest where you did not sow, because he sent others ahead of you, trust Him. He knows that too well.
He has led me into places only Him could. He has also prevented me from going into other places where I thought I deserved.
Through the Fires, I have walked. Through the water, He has navigated me, Above all The almighty God has preserved me and made sure all things work for good.
I may have a few regrets but I know nothing happened without Him being on the throne. Among the lessons, I have learnt more profoundly, is having a conversation with God. When I am angry with Him I tell Him. When I am frustrated with Him, He has to know. And when I a happy with God, we laugh. Yes. We actually laugh. When he exceeds my expectations, I let Him know and give Him a present.
By the way, if you give Him, He gives back in very many folds, and different ways. He has given me more than I could ask for. There is how I wanted things to happen and he did not allow, only because he knew what was best for me.
Ultimately, the blessing of the Lord has been upon me. God, you have been a good father. You have prepared others for my coming and softened their hearts.
My mom words,” A perfect years in not receiving all you asked God for, not getting all you dreamed of, It is knowing that God has walked you through the year through His sustenance.” Through it all, God has been amazingly good.
